This 1965 Porsche 356SC cabriolet was imported to Minnesota in the early 1970s, after which it was overhauled. Under the care of the same owner, the car was refurbished again in the early 2000s. Refinished in green over brown, the car is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a replacement black soft top, a black boot cover, 15? ventilated wheels, disc brakes, a luggage rack, jute floor mats, metric VDO gauges, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, aftermarket speakers, and a Blaupunkt radio. The current owner acquired the car in early 2022, around which time the oil was changed. This late-production 356SC is now offered on dealer consignment with a set of four extra wheels with tires as well as a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, manufacturer’s literature, receipts dating back to the 1970s, a tool kit, and a clean California title.

The car was refurbished in the mid-1970s by Restoration Enterprises of Circle Pines, Minnesota, and it was restored again in the early 2000s by Roland Automotive of Chesterfield, Michigan. The car was refinished in Irish Green at that time, and features include a black soft top, a black boot cover, rocker-panel moldings, a chrome-finished luggage rack, and gold Porsche SC badging. The selling dealer notes a star-shaped imperfection in the paint on the hood, and the fog lights are inoperative.

Chrome-finished 15? ventilated wheels wear Porsche-crest hubcaps and are mounted with Yokohama AV1-65i tires. The seller notes that the tires are old but that newer tires have been mounted to the extra set of wheels that are included with the vehicle.

The car was delivered new with Light Brown leatherette upholstery, which has been redone. Jute mats protect the transmission tunnel and footwells, the shift knob has been replaced, speakers have been added in the kick-panel areas, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW radio is located below a VDO clock in the dash.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of green-letter VDO instrumentation that includes a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 200-km/h speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 54k kilometers (~33k miles), approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
